What Web3Legal is, who it's for, and what it won't do. Two minutes to read; no account needed.
What is Web3Legal?#
Web3Legal is an AI workspace for agreements. You describe what you need, or upload a Word document, and it drafts, reviews or edits it. Every edit appears as a Word tracked change, so you decide what stays.
It's built for lawyers, and it's usable by founders, contributors and operators of onchain projects who handle contributor terms, contractor deals and partner contracts without a lawyer on call for each one.
What you can do today#
- Draft a full agreement from a plain-English description, as a real .docx with correct clause numbering. See Chat and drafting.
- Redline a document: every AI edit is a tracked change you accept or reject. See Redlines and the editor.
- Review a contract you were sent: a summary, risky clauses flagged, and questions to ask.
- Compare many contracts at once with a tabular review, each answer cited to its source.
- Reuse workflows for common jobs, and keep matters together in projects.
- Look up Hong Kong SFC codes and circulars in the regulatory library.
- Choose your model: Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or your own endpoint.
- Sign in with email, Google or an Ethereum wallet.
What it isn't#
It isn't a lawyer and it doesn't give legal advice. Use it to get a solid first draft, understand what you're signing and know which questions to ask. For tax, securities, employment or anything high-stakes, have a qualified professional check the result.
Where to go next#
- Your first result: a two-minute walkthrough.
- Chat and drafting: what the assistant can read, write and change.
- Sign in with a wallet: what you sign and what we store.
- Models, keys and pricing: free with your own key, or prepaid.
- Privacy and limits: where your documents live, and the fine print.
