Files and storage
Which files you can upload, how big they can be, and how much you can store on Free and Pro.

Supported files#
- Word (.docx, .doc): read, edited with tracked changes, and downloaded as Word or PDF.
- PDF: read, summarised, compared and used in tabular reviews.
- Images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP): attached in chat when the model can read images.
Spreadsheets, plain text and other formats aren't accepted. Files are checked on upload, so renaming a file's extension won't get it through.
Size#
Files attached in chat can be up to 25 MB each. Images can be up to 10 MB.
How much you can store#
- Free
- 100 MB of storage and up to 20 documents.
- Pro
- 1 GB of storage, with no cap on the number of documents.
These are the limits at the time of writing. Every saved version of a document counts towards storage, not only the latest one. Delete documents you no longer need to free up space.
