Tracked changes#

Every edit the assistant makes arrives as a Word tracked change: insertions underlined, deletions struck through. Open the document to review them.

  • Accept or reject each change on its own, or use Accept all and Reject all.
  • AI changes are attributed to “Web3Legal”. On Pro you can set your own author name under Account → General. Edits you make yourself are attributed to you.
  • Because they're standard Word revisions, the changes still show as tracked changes when you open the file in Word.

Comments#

Add a comment with Insert → Comment. Comments can be resolved and reopened, and the assistant can leave comments too when you ask it to flag something rather than change it.

Rewrite a passage#

Select text and choose Rewrite with AI to get a suggested rewrite of just that passage. Pick a preset such as Plain English, Tighten or Remove ambiguity.

Fill-in fields#

Templates often have fill-in fields for names, dates and amounts. Open View → Fields to see and fill them in one place, or ask the assistant to fill them from what you tell it.

Versions#

Edits create new versions of the document. Use the version selector to look at an earlier one.

Download#

  • Word (.docx) keeps any changes you haven't accepted or rejected, so you can keep negotiating in Word.
  • PDF shows pending tracked changes as markup. For a clean PDF, accept or reject everything first.
